How time flies...

Almost fours years ago Mommy and Daddy were blessed with the arrival our our Angel... Gabriel.

I am thankful for every single day I get to spend with you. Your curiosity, your innocence, your quest for learning, your determination to master every skill make every day challenging as well as blissful. I am just glad I don’t have to rush anywhere else. I feel privileged to be able to live those moments with you.

You inspire me to be the a better Mother and person. Your wisdom and inner strength have given me so much persepective on every aspect of my life. You remind me to stop and just be silly for a moment. You remind me to smile when I am so tired or stressed out. You remind me that hugs and kisses are given freely and without reservation.

Thank you for always being the sweet and adorable little boy that you are. I am so excited to see you grow this year and look forward to seeing you learn new things and experiences.

PS a funny mommy and son experience:

Usually, I would ask your older sister for fashion advice... but she was away at a sleepover with your Grandparents. So I turned to you and asked you to help me pick out a dress to wear. You were so proud to do this task. To make a long story short, you decided on an ill-fitting short black dress. Daddy commented after that I probably shouldn't ask you for help choosing attire for SUNDAY MASS. Yes, I wore the short black dress you picked out to Sunday mass. And yes, I could hardly bend over as I feared I might expose myself to fellow church goers. We had a great laugh in the end. I hope you still remember moments like this (especially as I probably will not be asking you to pick out my clothes for church in the years to come) :-)
