Six Month Checkup

Gabriel in the walker

Gabriel is now 6 1/2 months. Wow how time flies.
He is doing lots of new things now.

Walking in the Walker

Gabriel is trying so desparately to keep up with his active sister. He has mastered the art of waking in the baby walker. He is now RUNNING in the baby walker. Gabriel enjoys chasing Isabella around the house and you can hear the two of them laughing hysterically.

Although Gabriel will go with other friends and family, Gabriel remains extremely attached to Mommy. He could be sitting happily with someone and start to cry for Mommy if he sees Mommy.

Daddy's Birthday and Gabriel's First Dip in the Pool

Daddy was already up when we woke up so Isabella took the card (she had prepared it the night before) and present and gave it to Daddy. She said "Happy Birthday Daddy. Can help you open your present?" She gave him a big hug and kiss.

In the afternoon the whole family went swimming at Killarney pool. It was Gabriel's first experience (just turned six months old) in the pool. We did not know how he would react in the water. Although he has always enjoyed bath time, the pool may be a little colder and filled with loud screaming children... a little intimidating yes?

He was nervous at first but quickly warmed up and starting hitting the water with both hands... he is so strong that each splash got all of us wet! He soon joined all the screaming kids and let out a few screams himself. He was laughing and smiling the whole time.

One the car ride home, he passed out and is still sleeping now. So what's next? The beaches of Trinidad and Tobago?
